20 Stocks for January 2012

While I am not currently trading this basket of stocks I continue to generate the model and track the results, including a dollar-neutral model, available on request. I do continue to hold a position in HollyFrontier Corp ($HFC).
These stocks look very attractive to me based on four key metrics: 1) Relative Value; 2) Operating Momentum; 3) Estimate Revisions Momentum; 4) Fundamental Quality.
Last month, $FITB, $MRO, $USB, $HP, $WSM and $UNP stock prices moved up higher than that of the S&P 500 Total Return Index. Past results are never indicative of future results, but it might be worth studying these ideas first.
